Painting again

My boyfriend has been asking me to do some paintings for his apartment, and I finally got around to it.  I wanted to get inspired before starting, but he told me to just DO IT.  So I started it... and I kind of like it.  That is part 1 of 3, so hopefully all together they turn out great.  I need to add more browns and blues to the next 2 canvases and I'm not sure how to go about it, but yay! I'm glad I began painting again - it's been too long.

So I have been in a very DIY mood for the past like year but haven't really gotten around to doing anything.

Searching for some ideas for a mural I came across a blog that inspired me to get started.  And the more I searched for inspiration online, the more blogger pages I came across.  So I figured I needed my own!

I am trying to save up money to finish up my bachelor's and I would love to do so by painting, drawing, and decorating cakes. We'll see how everything works out!
